Read to find out why kids should learn the importance of balance, self-learning and joy, and how can parents direct them towards a better and brighter future.
Mothers are the most overrated roles in society today – the role is so over-exaggerated that any child with a toxic mother is unable to express their hatred towards the mother. In order that the world realises that that toxic mothers are a reality and they do exist, I decided to curate this post that contains some of the most toxic mothers I have read about.
I live in one of the most crowded cities in India, the bustling city of Mumbai. Sure, it is the city of dreams, but it is dotted with filth everywhere. Even five-star hotels are right near dumpsters. Crowded trains, buses, high traffic on the roads is common. The flu virus could be carried by anyone of the many million citizens of this city, with the potential to affect my child or me.
A kid’s life is divided into two, exam time and fun time, flu is bad news in either of these. I, therefore, got the flu vaccine for both my children to ensure that they continue having fun and being naughty through their childhood.
#IPromiseToStopFlu and therefore hope that this post will help other mothers to take a positive step towards their child’s safety and health.

We live in uncertain times. Today’s mothers are constantly worried about the shortfalls of growth and how it will affect their child’s future. Foods packed with chemicals & unhealthy eating habits are ensuring that our kids don’t get adequate nutrition.
My 5-year-old daughter is a fussy eater & I am constantly worried that she may not be getting adequate nutrition that is required for her brain development and immunity build-up. I am constantly battling with the question of how to handle a picky eater like my daughter? So, while I am still trying various recipes to ensure she eats well, PediaSure is ensuring that her nutritional needs are fulfilled effectively.
We entered Kidzania at 2 pm and at 9 pm, I had to literally drag my children out, they plainly refused to come! For those 7 hours, both of them had forgotten their phones, i-pads, computer games and television. Both had so many stories to tell me, the car was buzzing with their happy voices. There is something magical in listening to a child’s description of happiness and success.
My story, however, didn’t end here, the next weekend, I was back at Kidzania – this time the 1.5-hour drive from Malad to Ghatkopar didn’t seem like an ordeal, maybe because I knew that the return on this investment is going to be multi-fold!
If you are a parent who wishes to lend wings to your child’s creativity
and imagination, Kidzania is definitely a must-visit for you.
