Secret Memoirs of the Inanimate | #MyFriendAlexa: Theme Reveal

My Friend Alexa is undoubtedly one of the biggest blogging festivals of the modern times. Hosted by BlogChatter, this unique campaign unites different bloggers on the same platform. From October 1 to 31, 2020 – one will have the privilege of reading and engaging with brilliant, original writing through the blog posts.

Each blogger publishes a minimum of 8 posts in October – BlogChatter doesn’t determine a theme nor does it give a word limit. The blog posts need to submitted to the BlogChatter Blog Rolls under the “featured category” and the infographic or image needs to be pinned on Pinterest. Bloggers do all this with the hashtag #MyFriendAlexa as the fulcrum. Click here for more information.

Here is my theme for #MyFriendAlexa (drumrolls!!):

I am attempting to enter a realm of fiction writing that I have never tried earlier – narrating secrets from the point of view of an inanimate object.

Gear up to listen to some interesting tales narrated by a bottle of massage oil, a walking stick, a bindi, a blade of grass, one grain of salt, a knife and many other inanimate objects. Each of these objects will take the reader through a riveting narration of one key incident from their lives.
